Forged LT2 Long Block - 6.2L/378 CID

SVP now offers their proven long block engine combinations to the aftermarket. With years of experience in Gen V LT performance and thousands of Yenko engines built, SVP provides reliable, high-quality engines for the 6.2L LT2 C8 Corvette.

All SVP engines come standard with an ARP main stud kit, Clevite main and rod bearings, Chevy performance racing hydraulic lifters, and Total Seal piston rings sized and gapped for your application.  The factory LT2 crankshaft is professionally balanced to your selected choice of engine internals. We also eliminate the DOD system as a standard feature, so if you want to keep it, please let us know prior to your build so we can modify it as necessary.  Other included items are:

• New GM timing gears
• 5/16” hardened chromoly pushrods
• GM MLS Head Gaskets
• GM lifter trays and bolts
• Camshaft retainer plate with bolts
• Cylinder head dowel pins
• GM 1.8 ratio rocker arms

For custom engine builds, contact SVE for a quote. Engines ship via truck freight, with shipping costs added separately after purchase. Standard build time is around 10 business days, depending on parts availability. Call ahead for accurate timing or to request rush service, which also depends on parts availability.
